Welcome to the Thirty-Eigth Annual Scandia Run! The purpose of this website is to provide information related to the event- including registration, team competition, awards, etc. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any questions. The Event - The event will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at Lyle Day Park in Junction City. The 10k run starts at 8:00am and the 5k run/walk will start at 8:15am. The Course - The 10-kilometer course is flat and fast. There will be mile markers and timers will be at each mile. The 5-kilometer course is also flat and fast. Registration - The Entry Form is available for download on the left of this page. You may also register online at: https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=6374 *Please note that online registration closes at 11:59pm on August 4th. The early registration entry fee is $25 with
cotton shirt, $20 without shirt, children 11 and under are $15
through August 4th. From August 9th through August 10th
the
registration fee is $30 with t-shirt, $25 without and 11 and under
is $20. *Please make checks payable to VSAC. Mail completed entry form(s) with fee to Scandia Run, P.O. Box 336, Junction City, OR 97448. Please do not send cash. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 4th. Entries may also be dropped off at the Eugene Running Company and Dairy Queen (Junction City and Coburg Road) until 5pm on August 4th. Race Day registration at Lyle Day Park from 6:30-7:30am. Dairy Queen® Team Competition - The Team Entry Form and Team Roster are available for download from the links on the left of this page. The first FIVE finishers on a team will have their times added for a total team time. For all rules please review the Team Entry Form. The top three 10k and 5k teams in each division
will receive awards. The top five runners on the winning team will
win custom embroidered Scandia Run apparel sponsored by Dairy Queen
of Junction City and Coburg Road. Divisions include:
Open men/women and Corporate men/women. All members of a team
need to register individually, listing their team affiliation on
their entry, AND be included on the team roster submitted by their
team captain. The deadline for entering a team is August 4th – no
exceptions (no members may be added to teams after this date).
T-Shirts

100% cotton event
shirts will be available
during packet pickup at the Eugene Running Company from 11am to 6pm on
August 9th, at the Junction City High School from 5-7pm on
August 10th and at the start of the race from 6:30 to 7:30am. Race
day entrants are not guaranteed a shirt at registration. Shirts will
be sent out two to three weeks following the event. Packet Pickup - Packet Pickup and in-person registration will be held at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) on Thursday August 9th, 11:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday, August 10th, 5:00 to 7:00pm at Junction City High School. Awards - Awards are sponsored by DARI-MART/LOCHMEAD and will be given to the top three men and women in each age division in the 10k event. There will also be awards for the top three finishers overall in the 5k event.

Drawings - Gift
certificates good for a variety of products from your local
DARI-MART stores will be
given away along with merchandise from
Sporthill,
Eugene Running Company
and Bugsys. Please thank
these people when you patronize their businesses. To be eligible for
the drawings, participants must be present and have their race
number.
Prize Money -
The top three overall men and women will
receive prize money ($75, $50, and $25 respectively). Winners
of prize money are not eligible for age group awards. They are
eligible for team awards.
